It Worked!

Remember in my recent blog that I just experimented something about oils could really be absorbed better in our foot soles? It did! It's been three nights already since I have been  applying a rub in my foot soles and I've never been so soundly asleep since then! No more coughing in the middle of the night! I don't even cough much anymore and I am looking forward to the day that I will be completely healed! Thanks to Tito Emil Fernandez who has been faithfully sending these tips on his mailing lists everyday! Since this is already proven, it would really be better if the oils that would be absorbed are organic and natural! Of course, you wouldn't want to absorb anything that causes potential harm to the body, right? So, what are you waiting for? Choose health! Opt Organics! :-)

Testing to Prove Truth in Wellness

I have just read from my e-mail this afternoon that a Vicks Vaporub ( I know its's not organic, but read further before you react. )when rubbed on the soles of our feet absorbs more quickly and relieves the cough in a maximum of five (5 ) minutes.Since, they said, the soles of our feet absorb more essential oils to our body.  I am actually excited to try but not with the Vicks brand. I want to try it instead with an organic product that  I am also starting to use. The GIGA No Pain Natural. It stands for God is Good always and just like Human Nature, it is Philippine made, organic and affordable! So, aside from the organic nature of each. 'Have to go now to rest and look forward to the fast remedy. Choose health, choose organics!

Early Christmas Wish

I know it's early to write this but a few weeks from now, it will be Christmas again! So, I decided to write my wish list this year. This is also to inform friends ( ehemm..you know who you are) that I'm so into organics already that if ever they give something consumable or edible, it has to be organic! Yikes, tough huh? Well, not everything though, unless I want to clothe myself with plants or leaves! Here's my list:
* Bags
*Tops
*Shoes or sandals or flip flops
*Amazon Kindle Ebook Reader
*Of course, E-books! What goood is an E-book reader without it!
*1 Terabyte External Hard drive ( the cute one)
*Accessories
*Visa approval for my trip to Australia to attend my brother's wedding
*Earn my first in Internet Business in dollars
*Dress
*Swim wear (just realized I don't have one anymore..hehehe)
*Dual phone for my sun number
This is so far as I can remember that I want this Christmas season. As for toiletries, including lotions, I strongly encourage organic products. Well, if you really want to give me colognes or perfumes, it's still fine  with me. As the saying goes "it's the thought that counts". It really does count that's why I choose what I give to my friends and loved ones because I love 'em, I would give them what's best. I bet people could already guess what I would give them this Christmas. Well, it's actually the best I could give to them and I believe it's really beneficial for them too! Tadddaaaa..what else, but organic products! I believe you will thank me after you will receive my gifts! Choose Health, Opt Organics!

Organic Count

I am just home today, resting because of my cough and a little bit of colds. I have been asking myself lately, “Most of the products I have used now are already organic, shouldn’t I be healthier?” I have been trying to fight over the idea of never again putting anything chemical on my body especially commercial medicines. I’m not saying they are bad because I also believe in the wisdom given by God to man to invent such those and create better lives. I believe each one of us have taken them in one way in most of our lives. But now as man awakened to the possibility of creating better than the best lives we have now, it has come into realization that all we need to do is go back to the basics, the natural and organic way! Discoveries of natural healing and even self healing have been created.  Even the most common medicines and products are joining the natural and herbal bandwagon by putting itsy bitsy essential oils of these and that into the goods. Still, we really have to be careful on what we use and take. We only need to read carefully the ingredients of each product. Going back to the supplements I have to take to help me get well, I really have been reflecting on where I went wrong. Here’s a list of the organic products I’m using:
·         Facial wash and toner
·         Feminine wash
·         Bar soap
·         Hand sanitizer
·         Shampoo and body wash
·         Deodorant
·         Conditioner
·         Lotion
·         Day and night moisturizers
·         Beauty oil as my eye moisturizer
·         Massage oil
·         Bug spray
·         Detergent powder
·         Lip balm
Now, let me list down the unnatural products I use as well:
·         Perfume/cologne
·         Coffee
·         lipsticks that I use only once or twice a day
·         Loose powder
·         Blush-on
·         Mascara
·         Eye shadow
·         Medicines(antibiotics and cough)
·         Alcohol

These are as far as I can remember and with the help also of rummaging through my bag. For the above mentioned organic products, my sources are Human Nature and Plantex. You might congratulate me as you read on my listing that there are already more organic products I used than the chemical ones. Yet, the chemical based products are almost as many as the organics that I used!  So, right now I will do my best to continue to look out for organic based goods which I have not used yet. This means I have to research extensively through the net if I have the time or cross my fingers that my trusted brands will come up with it. You see, as much as I would like to completely opt for the healthy way, if it's not available or even affordable, then, I would still be tempted to use the chemical ones. But, if it is worth to buy for your health's sake, better go for it! As for now, I choose to rest from rigorous activities to keep myself well and I believe that sooner or later the products I wish I could use could no longer be harmful because it will be organic. :-)

Becoming OC for Organics

It was the morning after this year's All Souls Day and my first time also to be outside Cebu  to commemorate the event. I woke up  in our place in Babak, Island Garden City of Samal in Davao del Norte (an island now turned city just off coast of Davao City). I wasn't feeling well then but managed to still savor and enjoy the short vacation. As I was getting ready to take a bath, I have been insisting on my mom to take the organic bath soap out of our luggage so I can use it. "I already took it out last night but I could not find it also.  Do not force the issue, just use any soap displayed in the bathroom.", she said in Cebuano. "Mao jud, wa ka kaila ug Neutrogena? Mahal na. Imported baya na..(She's right, haven't you heard of Neutrogena? It's expensive and imported)", my aunt who just came home from Bahrain added. "Of course, you are the ignorants, haven't you heard of organic products?!" I shouted in my head. I was finally at peace after Mama rummaged through a pile of clothes taken out from our luggage and found the soap! That night, while I was washing myself before getting a good night's sleep, I have been reading already the contents of the products they are using inside the bathroom including those my Mama trusted for years for her face. If it does not have SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate), it could contain Parabens also! I could not imagine myself anymore using those knowing the chemical contents of the product! Despite my asthma attack, using the organic products that I used made me feel better. The scenario I have shared made me just realize that I am already quite serious in using organics. Why? simply because I am conscious already of the chemicals that are being placed on the products! As what one of the customers in the Human Nature outlet said, "OC" or Obsessive - Compulsive. Environmentalist, ignorant, OC,..call me whatever you want but one thing's for sure for people like US-Opting Organics is Healthy! :-)
